Zhou Anbang, general manager of Mrisen, attended the provincial Semiconductor packaging materials Summit to break the domestic substitution dilemma with collaborative innovation

  On April 23,2025, the "Semiconductor Cluster Integrated Circuit Packaging Materials Special Event," guided by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and organized by the Jiangsu New Materials Industry Association and the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association, was grandly held in Wuxi city. Attending the event were Luo Zhiquin, Deputy Inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; Yu Yong, Director of the Electronics Information Industry Division; Li Kai, Director of the New Materials Industry Division; Sha Haifeng, Fourth-Level Researcher of the New Materials Industry Division; semiconductor industry experts, and representatives from semiconductor companies across the province.

  Zhou Anbang, General Manager of Jiangsu Mrisen High-tech Materials Co., Ltd.  (hereinafter referred to as "Mrisen")was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech titled "Innovative High-Purity Materials, Promoting the Localization of the Semiconductor Industry Chain." He introduced the company's core technological achievements to the attendees, expressed his vision for deepening cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain, and called on industry peers to join hands in advancing the localization process of key semiconductor materials.

Technology leads the world and solves the "neck-pinching" problem

  Mr.Zhou Anbang emphasized the breakthrough progress made by Mrisen in the field of high-purity metal materials during his speech. The company's independently developed "targeted separation technology" has achieved large-scale production of 7N (purity 99.99999%) ultra-high purity copper and electronic-grade high-purity copper sulfate solutions, with total impurities below 1ppm and a key RRR value reaching 3053.356. This technology has been certified by international authoritative institutions such as SGS, and is described as "domestically unique and globally leading." Currently, the company has established a production line for 70 tons of 7N ultra-high purity copper and 3200 tons of electronic-grade copper sulfate solution. By 2025, the planned capacity will be further increased to 2000 tons of ultra-high purity copper and 30000 tons of copper sulfate solution. Additionally, high-purity nickel, cobalt, and zinc have been produced in the laboratory. Plans are underway to set up new production lines in semiconductor industry clusters to better meet customer needs, shorten supply chain response cycles, and provide stable and reliable high-end materials for advanced semiconductor processes, superconductivity, and new energy sectors.

  In view of the current situation that key materials in the semiconductor industry are controlled by Europe and the United States, Mr.Zhou Anbang stressed: "High purity copper sulfate solution is the core raw material of advanced packaging processes such as TSV deep hole copper plating and Damascus electroplating. Mrisen's products can completely replace imports and help Chinese semiconductor enterprises break through the blockade and achieve autonomy."

Mrisen call for collaborative innovation and joint efforts to build an industrial ecosystem

  In his speech, Mr.Zhou Anbang repeatedly emphasized the importance of "industry chain collaboration." He stated that the localization of semiconductor materials requires close cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises: "From high-purity metal purification to target material manufacturing, from packaging process optimization to end-application verification, Mrisen is willing to work with partners to establish a joint technology research group, providing customized material solutions to promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement across the entire chain. Strengthening cooperation and communication is essential to overcome the reliance on imported high-end semiconductor materials, break foreign monopolies, and support the rise of China's semiconductor industry on the global stage, contributing to the realization of a strong technological nation."

Looking into the future of the industry, we will anchor the new track of superconductivity and AI

  In the face of the extreme demands on materials from emerging fields such as superconductivity, quantum computing, and AI chips, Mr.Zhou Anbang shared the company's forward-looking layout: new products like 8N high-purity copper and 6N high-purity nickel/cobalt have entered the R&D phase, with a focus on expanding into advanced application scenarios such as superconducting magnets, maglev technology, and high-power chip cooling. "The Chinese semiconductor industry is entering a critical window for technological leapfrogging. Only by adhering to independent innovation and open collaboration can we take the initiative in global competition." He called on industry peers to seize opportunities and jointly build a safe, efficient, and sustainable semiconductor material supply chain.

  The event gathered representatives from the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association, Wuxi city's Department of Industry and Information Technology, and dozens of leading enterprises in the industrial chain. The speech by Jiangsu Mrisen sparked enthusiastic responses, with several packaging material companies reaching preliminary cooperation intentions on-site. In the future, the company will continue to adhere to the principle of "materials first," driving China's semiconductor industry towards higher-end and more independent development, fulfilling the arduous mission of achieving domestic substitution in semiconductors.
